LinguaMatch takes a different approach to teaching the French language. The program presents you with a 3D panoramic world that you must navigate. You click objects to view the corresponding French word. There are dozens of screens to explore. The program can be a fun method to build French vocabulary; this approach is unique to LinguaMatch.

LinguaMatch covers a few fundamentals besides vocabulary. They have a record and playback function, but this doesn't analyze your voice or compare your pronunciation to a native speaker. They also provide you with some writing tasks and some reading drills.

At first glance LinguaMatch is intruding, but it may become repetitious after the novelty wears off. With no other French learning tools, the program is limited. LinguaMatch doesn't teach written French, grammar or conversation skills in any depth. But LinguaMatch provides a nice divirsion from typical structured French lessons.
